I’ve been working in the field of healing all my life.

My first job was managing a flotation tank center (sensory deprivation) where I learned and experienced the benefits of relaxation.

Throughout my 20s I intensively studied meditation, mysticism and Tai Chi, gaining more perspective on how habitual stress patterns affect body and mind. During that time I was introduced to the ideas behind Five Element Acupuncture, and immediately they rang true. When I saw the difference this medicine could made in my friends and myself, I knew I had found my calling. I continue to receive acupuncture and bodywork because I love the support it gives me and the way it makes me feel.

I attended a 4-year, master’s level program at the Institute of Taoist Education and Acupuncture school in Colorado and graduated in 2004. I went on to teach and supervise interns at that school, and I now teach at the Won Institute of Graduate Studies in Pennsylvania. I love sharing the ideas and inspiration behind this type of practice.

During acupuncture school I was introduced to Zero Balancing, a wonderful form of body work that integrates energy balancing with physical structure. I incorporated ZB into my acupuncture treatments, finding that the deep relaxation it brings enhances the benefits. I continued my study of Zero Balancing and became certified in 2015.

I’m always studying to improve my skills. Currently I’m in training to be able to work more effectively at resolve trauma and it’s aftereffects. I add extra modalities to your session from what I’ve learned over the years according to what you might need. These could include Medical Qi Gong, Acupressure (for those afraid of needles), and other methods.

For over 15 years, I’ve helped many hundreds of clients in thousands of sessions to find resolution to their symptoms, recover a sense of balance, peace and vitality.
